Blåmes

At around 9 AM I put out the droprig in a blackthorn shrub close to Hågaån without any high hope but I struck luck with close encounters with blue tit begging calls, still singing garden warblers and annoyed hooded crows in the choir. Hågaån, Uppsala. July 10, 2023.

Their song is very similar to their Sparrowhawk alarm call, in fact whenever Blue Tits sing, every other species is on edge lol. Sadly yet another common bird that's in decline so I always take the opportunity when I get one to record this species every year. Never take anything for granted.
