Rosing is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, engineer, and musician. His background includes classical training at the University of Southern California, studying film scoring with David Raksin, orchestration with Albert Harris, and songwriting with Jack Segal and Arthur Hamilton. In addition to writing for artists and producing records, he has composed music for television, film and theatre. Rosing was the Grand Prize Winner in the Music City Song Festival in 1983 and the International Creative Management Grand Prize Winner in the National Academy of Songwriters Songsearch '82. He has also authored several books on music history.
