This is a love poem to the feeling of being in a crowd of people with loud live music vibrating off your chest and a smile on your face.
This is a love poem to physics set to music - I’ve only just made it and I genuinely have absolutely no idea yet whether it’s the worst thing I’ve ever done or the best. Before I could overthink it and probably hide it away, I’ve uploaded it.

This poem happened as I was jumping up and down in a beautiful crowd of people at Blue Dot festival this year - my treat to myself for finally having the courage to quit my steady job - with the bass shaking my chest and a massive smile on my face I thought about the physics of the moment, how none of the music or lights or any of it could happen without electrons. What I have always loved about physics is the beauty and wonder and emotion it’s responsible for - something that never makes it into the school textbooks or exams….
