Nata dalla passione di musicisti esperti e affiatati, la band porta sul palco un sound potente e coinvolgente, ricco di groove, emozione e improvvisazione.

Con un repertorio che spazia dai classici di Muddy Waters, B.B. King e Stevie Ray Vaughan fino a composizioni originali, la Bana Blues Band offre uno spettacolo trascinante, fatto di chitarre graffianti, voce intensa e una sezione ritmica solida e vibrante.

Ogni esibizione è un’esperienza unica: che si tratti di un club intimo o di un grande palco all’aperto, la Bana Blues Band sa creare un’atmosfera calda e partecipata, capace di far vibrare il pubblico al ritmo del vero blues.

La Mr. Bana Blues Band nasce agli inizi degli anni 2000 da un’idea del chitarrista e cantante Marco “Bana” Pieraccini. Fin da subito, la band si distingue per la sua capacità di unire la tradizione del blues con una forte vena creativa, iniziando a lavorare parallelamente sui classici del genere e su brani originali che spaziano dal modern blues al funk, fino a toccare le sonorità più calde del soul.

Nel 2012 esce il primo album, “Come From Here”, una raccolta di dieci brani inediti che raccontano l’anima più moderna e personale del blues della band. L’album riceve ottimi riscontri e diventa il trampolino di lancio per numerosi concerti e partecipazioni a festival blues in tutta Italia, ma anche all’estero, con tour in Messico, Spagna, Francia e Germania.

Nel 2014, il leader Mr. Bana si trasferisce all’estero, interrompendo momentaneamente l’attività live della band. Dopo alcuni anni di esperienza internazionale, nel 2021 rientra in Italia e riforma la band con nuova energia e nuovi obiettivi artistici.

Attualmente la Bana Blues Band è al lavoro su un nuovo album, pronta a tornare sulle scene con il suo stile riconoscibile, fatto di groove, emozione e contaminazioni moderne.

In 2011, I arrived home from my day job and found the front door kicked in ... "Oh Fck", I thought, I hope the dogs are ok. The little rascals were safe and sound - they'd been locked in the laundry by the thieves who then proceeded to ransack the house and stole pretty much every musical thing of value. 
Except for - my 1983 Martin D28 acoustic guitar. This guitar lived on my lounge as I played it every day. I pretty much still do.
It was pretty battered and worn as between the two of us we'd done 100's if not 1000's of gigs. The thieves in their haste had either missed it or taken a look and thought , yea nah .. looks worthless.
As shattering as that experience was I cant tell you the relief I felt when I saw that old Martin sitting on the couch.
At this stage in my musical journey Id been taking a break from live performance and to be blunt was probably a little lost and directionless. The break in and survival of that Martin D28 reminded me how intrinsic and vitally important music was to me. 
I sat down and started writing new material within days !! It was a huge turning point for me musically.
I went on to form Men In Blues, a progressive Blues Rock band. We released two albums in the mid 2000's and had several charting songs - including a No. 1` streaming song in Belgium. Songs off both records were also featured on several Australian Compilation albums. I would never say thank you to those thieves, but the experience certainly relit the musical fire for me.

When you watch Mike Beale play you begin to understand what commitment to music really means. His energy and amazing guitar skills are only the beginning of Mike’s unique style and way of bringing his music to audiences in Australia and all over the world. 

Mike has gone on to tour nationally and internationally in several original bands, Men in Blues in the mid 2000's and later The KNiKi + Mike Beale Project,  the latter releasing several albums and being signed to a small boutique record lable out of Chicago.

Mike, relocated from Sydney to Brisbane in late 2019 while taking a break from touring and then bang ! Covid !
Like everyone else in the entertainment industry, Covid changed everything. Fortunate to be in Brisbane throughout the pandemic and with minimal shutdowns compared to the rest of the country Mike started The Mike Beale Band. 
After nearly 4 years of regular gigging and festival appearances, this latest musical journey really showcases Mikes full range , both vocally and instrumentally. Currently putting the finishing touched to a live album, there will also be some great new original music released in the near future.

I've Been playing, composing, writing, arranging, recording, mixing, mastering, engineering, producing music of all genres..Playing electric guitar, Slide, Dobro, Nylon Guitar, Bass, Accordion, Flute, Keyboards, Piano, Organ, Synthesizer, Vibraphone, Harmonica, Drums & Percussion since I was 10 years old, self taught.. many different styles and genres to choose from. This is a big Christmas project made by Axel Menningen, Mike Fox and Andrea Brennan, with a goal to help children in Ukraina, who are suffering from the war❤️  Me, and 19 others wonderful singers was so lucky to be a part of it.  And wow, what an amazing journey, with a fantastic result!

Hi! ☺️ I am an amateur singer/songwriter with a lot of passion for singing and Music.  I mostly sing originals,  but also covers . I like to write lyrics with meaning, something people can relate to.
