Romanian talent Tao Andra expresses her energetic yet sensitive nature through her music, ranging from powerful to dark and funky Techno. She started her musical voyage in The Netherlands while attending university but has gone on to become a sought-after international artist. After delivering music to labels such as 7Rituals, Kaligo Records and many more, Tao is back on Victor Ruiz’s esteemed VOLTA label with a two-track release titled ‘Body & Soul’.
The release gets underway with the title cut, ‘Body & Soul’, diving straight into an energetic flurry of pulsating bass, punchy kicks, ominous accents and gripping synth arps. Immediately atmospheric from the outset, this driving club cut runs an intriguing blend of futuristic vibes and celestial sonics from start to finish.
‘Aura’ completes the EP with captivating potency, delivering another high-energy Techno number. Hard- hitting drums and racy hat grooves steer the track forward amongst a dissolving sea of musical components as you get steadily lost in its free-fall before being hurled back into the huddle of this show- stopping peak-time bomb.

The Italian-born, London-based Cassimm lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the ‘House of Moves’ EP. It kicks off with ‘Body And Soul’, a hands-in-the-air affair backed by a slick, Jackin’ Tech House groove and earworm vocal. It’s a surefire recipe to tease the crowd into a dancefloor moment before CASSIMM's ‘I Hear You’ comes in with plenty of soul on the B-side. Dubby House chords form the base above swinging organic percussion, with another classic vocal working the nostalgia on top. It’s no news that Victor Ruiz have been producing authentic music from day one. With a need to incorporate that sound more and more, VOLTA was created.

“I’ve always felt that my music was somewhat different and most times hard to place on a certain label. I saw many other artists feeling the same. There was a gap. That’s when I knew it was time for me to create VOLTA.”
Victor wants to create a new platform that not just releases music but also connects artists and human beings.

A percentage of the profits of the label goes to charities and causes chosen by all the artists that are involved.

“I want to bring consciousness to our scene that we should not just make and play music. There’s so much more beyond that. Helping people should be one of the main focuses in our lives. That’s why we are artists, to connect and to help.”
