At the withered hour, one eye keeps its conscious gaze while the other glazes over.  Wicking away sleep like heavy wax under the flicker of a lone flame reaching exhaustion, the periphery blackens - whether by night or wicked smoke, neither eye is in agreement.  A beacon, whether a screen or campfire, beckons with a story to tell by some interdimensional extrapolation; the prevailing perception of this penumbral purview.  

The fixed eye looks long at a hazy orange nimbus amidst the nebulous, and where you once grasped, your mind is given to a trance. WIth no need for a clear image, you turn your lobes to a tune that needs no absent pupil. Attuned, the tickle of audial antennae is all that need's-be for the jamboree - yes siree, yes soirée, it is Cryptmas XXV.

First instrumental version of a Blues Rock tune i threw together these past 2 days. The first full song i've recorded at home. Instruments by me. I'm either gonna sing it or get a vocalist friend to sing it soon. Inspiration for the tune and the different sounds were the bands: The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Dire Straits and Hurriganes.
