Get Back Home is an EP where the melodic and harmonic developments tell stories of love and passion. From the melancholic funk serenade "Message in a Bottle" to the danceable Modern Funk of "Back To You", the stories develop between light and dark, with sounds that continually blend between past and present. The organic use of Drum Machines and the renewed approach to synths and E-Piano of the late 70s tradition, makes the EP not only a romantic and banal attempt to go back in time, but a new sound experience where nostalgia accompanies, without replacing, contemporaneity.
