Nacht / Brian Phillip- Techno / Tech House DJ/Producer born in Upstate NY.  Nacht is known to dabble in many genres of music yet somehow always finds his way back "home", Back to Techno & , that is. Pushing every limit as well as range of artists while taking you on an unforgettable explosive melodic journey. His most recent endeavor of competing for a 2024 opening DJ set slot at the world renown/ iconic venue, "The Brooklyn Mirage" hoping for a debut at NYC's annual Pride festival, "Planet Pride".  Since then putting him on many listeners radar for the summer of 2024.   Quickly becoming the worlds fan favorite at just over 15k votes on his contest set alone. Votes coming in from as far away as India and Russia. He is currently operating independent. Nacht has many fans excited to see what is to come next for this energetic new edition to the scene. Mid July Nacht announced that he would be ending his summer by competing again for a opening festival DJ slot at, Dream Nation Music Festival in Paris France which is set to take place on October 31 2024. If won, this would potentially launch him towards more of a European fan base to take his career to the next level. Having previously lived in Europe this is something that he is very much looking forward to this coming fall. Cheers!

Multicoloured blasts of undulating, unstable tapestries, ricocheting Dancehall mutations over reverbed-out dread techno bassline warps

Raised on a diet of  1970s Afrobeat, Jùjú music & genre-defying Black American pop, Ruoho's music draws upon the visceral aesthetics of dub, techno, garage & impractical melodic leitmotifs from experimental electro-acoustics, fusing them into imaginative new exhilarations, sometimes 4-on-the-floor, other times Avant-dubwise or ambient. His music has been described by some as “vaporous”, “aching and expansive” & “a wicked dub abstraction”.

Ruoho won an international BBC Radio 1 remix competition, reshaping Steve Reich's seminal piece “Music for 18 Musicians” & has released 12" vinyl records on numerous boutique labels like Unfulfillment (Montréal), Zero G Sounds (Boston), Thoughtless Music (Toronto), de'fchild productions (San Francisco), Adjunct Digital (Los Angeles), Skor Records (Los Angeles), Auralism (San Francisco) & Creaked Records (Switzerland). He has performed live at the Winter Music Conference (Miami), Decibel Festival (Seattle) as well as numerous underground venues across North America.
