 Desserts was a Detroit-area band which existed in the late 70s. They were formed from several musicians from the group ASTIGAFA which broke up after Marshall Crenshaw left for other projects. They largely played in the SE Michigan area but would occasionally tour away from the Berkley/Royal Oak area where they were based. Made up of Gary Sussman and Gary Rosenberg-guitars and vocals; Dan Logan, bass and vocals; Dick Coulson, drums and vocals; and Art Vartanian, keyboards. Live mix and initial recording on these by Eric Peasley, who along with Neil Sever handled the board and sound reinforcement. This particular selection was recorded at the Wagon Wheel Saloon in Troy, Michigan in 1978. Gary Rosenberg handling the vocals here.

This cover of Born to Run was inspired by Bruce’s unforgettable concert in Philadelphia on December 9, 1980, the night after John Lennon’s passing. Before starting, Bruce told the crowd:
“It’s hard to come out here tonight. Twist and Shout was the first song I ever learned. But sometimes you just gotta go on…”

Those words still echo today. With this version, Gigi carries that spirit forward — a reminder that music must always go on. Gaia unleashes a soaring guitar solo, the band brings Wall-of-Sound energy, and together we honor the voices who shaped rock forever.

This is not a live bootleg — we wanted studio clarity with high-quality production, while still keeping the fire and emotion of the stage.

Passionné de randonnée qui a fait de son rêve une réalité. C'est à dire partir traverser l'Europe à pied, soit 15 000 km, en solo et en autonomie complète.

Mais il n'en a pas toujours été ainsi. Mes 1ère randos sur plusieurs jours furent un déclic dans ma vie. J'ai pris un pied énorme à vivre au contact de la nature jour et nuit, cependant je me suis blessé à porté un sac toujours trop lourd (24kg) en voulant faire des étapes beaucoup trop longues pour mon niveau... en fait, j'ai fait toutes les conneries de débutants

possibles et imaginables. Mes pieds, mes chevilles, mes genoux et mon dos s'en souviennent, et déjà à l'époque je trouvais dommage de ne pas avoir accès à des conseils simples et claires.

Pendant 7 ans, j'ai été un banquier vissé sur sa chaise les yeux collé à un écran en attendant... le week-end pour partir marcher et s'oxygéner ! En 2017, je démissionne, commence mon activité de coach en trek et pars marcher 5 000 km pendant 6 mois pour fêter çà.

Depuis j'ai marché 15 000 km sur les sentiers, dans des paysages merveilleux et surtout : sans me blesser ni réveiller de blessures...

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists who write, perform and/or produce a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave & Experimental World Pop. Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that tries to push the creative limits of traditional pop.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Danielle & Dave's favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
