Ari 3000 (@ari3000) is the moniker of Armaan Sheriff, whose DJ sets traverse the more progressive realms of house music, while also exploring adjacent genres like acid, breaks, trance, leftfield techno, and disco. Drawn to both emotive and eccentric sounds alike, he seeks to channel his appreciation for cutting edge electronic music and play sets that do justice to the tracks that comprise them. He is trained by DJ and producer Stalvart John, and has played a diverse range of sets over time – including a recent performance at Magnetic Fields Festival.

About the mix

"The underlying flavour of the mix is psychedelic, which also describes a large part of the music I’m drawn to. It moves through slightly darker soundscapes coloured by acid and breaks – with music from a few of my favourite artists making it into the mix as well. Overall, I really enjoyed putting this together, and hope it landed somewhere people resonate with."
