She has now entered into a new status within the church by becoming consecrated into one of the oldest orders of the Catholic faith, which took place on November 21 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where Bishop Dennis Sullivan celebrated the Rite of Consecration to a Life of Virginity for a Woman Living in the World. Laurie chats with Jen Mauro and Mike Walsh abut her discernment path, how this vocation differs from that of a woman religious, and what it is expected of her.

Emanuel – God with us

Once broken—now restored. I was broken, lost, and shattered. But Jesus found me. He restored me. 
Now I sing not from pain, but from redemption.

This music is my offering back to the One who healed me. From the valley to the throne—Jesus was, is, and will always be the center.
