Lex Luca stands as one of the electronic music scene's most prolific and unwavering artists. His consistent track record has earned him the staunch support of industry heavyweights, ranging from luminaries such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Mark Knight, Jamie Jones, Claude von Stroke, Richy Ahmed, to Riva Starr. 

This year Lex Luca has returned to regularly releasing on his own In Tune imprint, while his recent single Mechanical Touch on Night Mayors saw him experiencing with more melodic, progressive sounds with impressively emotionally-resonant results. 

New single At Ya blends the heady rhythms of deep tech house with the distinctive  303 synth sounds from the acid house era. It's a cut that pays homage to the genre's roots while infusing it with a modern twist, resulting in a maelstrom of hypnotic loops and thunderous drums. 

In 2022, Lex Luca achieved a milestone in his career with the release of ‘Exposure’ Snatch! label. In this episode Gregory Dobbs chats to James Foley about where his ideas come from, the great characters he has created – Sally Tinker (the world’s foremost inventor under the age of twelve), Joe Tinker (full-time baby) and Charli Stevenson (foremost biologist under the age of eleven). We explore the hilarious and often quite smelly adventures they get up to, along with Sally's amazing range of inventions. There's also a few Dad jokes along the way.

In 'Brobot' Sally Tinker knows she can build a better brother than the messy, smelly version she has. Sally’s invention – Brobot – is fantastic … until the remote breaks and Brobot careens out of control.

In 'Gastronauts', the brain-enhancing nanobots Sally is testing have been accidentally swallowed by her baby brother, Joe. The only way to stop Joe from turning into a superbaby and wreaking super havoc is to shrink herself and travel inside Joe’s body on a mission to tackle the problem head-on.

In 'Stellarphant' Stella wants to be an astronaut. There is only one problem: Stella is an elephant. Every time she applies to Space Command, they come up with a new reason she can’t join. But where there’s a will, there’s a way, and Stella is determined to reach for the stars.

Alejandro Bustamante-Martinez, known professionally as Currents, is a San Diego-born DJ, producer, and Brobot Records label manager who has been mentored by some of house music's most respected names. His music has earned airplay on BBC Radio 1, KIIS-FM, Dash Radio, and KCRW, and has been supported by icons like Jamie Jones, Fatboy Slim, Sam Divine, Blondish, and Defected's Simon Dunmore.

Currents has played at some of the top clubs and venues in the country and made a standout appearance at CRSSD Festival in 2023, sharing the bill with leading names in the scene. With a deep knowledge of house music culture and a sharp ear for production, he continues to build momentum as both a creative and tastemaker in modern house music.
