"The Hunter's Legend" is partially inspired by a previous mashup I released named "Flaahgra's Rebirth. It was less of a track & more of a concept piece that explored some ideas that I wasn't quite skilled enough to implement at that time. Now with over a decade of mashup experience under my belt, I present a brand new track that explores the concepts I was intrigued by in that original piece.

This is also the first mashup I've ever released to feature some unique compositions by myself, though that's a very small portion of the piece & it is ultimately still a mashup at the end of the day.

This is part of an ongoing project to celebrate Metroid's 35th anniversary in the month of May, cleverly dubbed "Maytroid".

The worlds of Metroid & Doom collide once more in day 7 of #Maytroid, a celebration of Metroid's 35th anniversary during the month of May. In this piece, Adam Malkovich helps Samus locate her Grapple Beam at a remote Space Pirate cultist facility. It seems after the events of Metroid Fusion, everyone wants Samus dead. She's going to need all the upgrades she can get to fend off the bounty on her head...
