Opening song "The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind)" features a disco beat and an extended brass and vocal sample from Chicago's "Street Player" from 
Chicago 13
 (1979).[4] The sampled refrain, "street sounds swirling through my mind," was transformed into a mondegreen through the song title so that listeners mishear it as "these sounds fall into my mind."[13]

 said the song's 'genius' lies in "the way it builds up your anticipation with a protracted burst of hard jacking drums and atonal honking before the perfect disco sample soars away into the distance."[14] "Sayin' Dope" applies funk characteristics and Latino brass atop beats described by Gareth Grundy of

 as "avant-garde but always accessible."[15] "Got Myself Together" samples Brass Construction's "Movin'" and fuses styles of house, disco, funk and hip hop,[12] while "Whew!" is dominated by funk elements.[16] Gonzalez' hip hop roots surface in "Time and Space",[12] which fuses trip hop with influences from Chic and The J.B.s, and incorporates science fiction-style sound effects and samples of Level 42's "Starchild".[12][15]


The lyrics have a single line "
these sounds fall into my mind
", which repeats throughout the entire song. This line is also the subtitle of the song, which is actually considered a mondegreen; the actual lyric taken from the sample is 
"Street sounds swirling through my mind..."



After the 1995 re-release, another editor, Brad Beatnik, said, "It's the sort of tune that will go down very well on most floors thanks to its carnival atmosphere and very funky disco beats." He added, "A stormer."[12] The magazine's James Hamilton viewed it as "so consistent a seller since late September ['94] that it must surely be the biggest import in ages", describing it as "a marathon bassily burbling percussive 0.125.9bpm underground rhythm groove".[13] John Kilgo from

 stated that "more than a Box novelty, "The Bomb!" is essential '90s funk, a house party on the last car of the D to the A train winding its way from Brooklyn up to Manhattan's disco meat-packing district with conductor Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez mixing electro, hip-hop, house, and Chicago (the group)."[15] In her review of the album, the magazine's Leigh Anne Fitzpatrick concluded that "the single alone will leave you chanting the catchy line "These sounds fall into my mind"."[16]

Benziko is a DJ producer & remixer based in London (UK) with an incredible amount of talent who has already had he’s fair share of playing alongside some of the greats at ministry of sound, pacha & garage nation.
He was originally known as Dj Sneaks back in 2010 for the House & Uk Garage scene where he had a number of radio appearances and he regularly warmed up Dj sets for the likes of DJ EZ , Dj Luck & Neat, Craig David & MK (Marc Kinchen) He's recent stories show support from MK, Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian to name a few..
As of today Ben has been locked away in Studio focusing on crafting he’s own sound of ‘Benziko’ Stay tuned & watch as Benziko releases new music :)
