Aria Chamravi, known as Kodama, is a Bush/Psy-Tech producer and DJ based in Melbourne, Australia. Since emerging in 2022, Kodama has carved a unique space in the underground scene—blending hypnotic, raw rhythms with ethereal textures and deep storytelling.

Hear What I Hear is her debut EP with Japan’s esteemed Magichour Recordings: a sonic journey through the Australian bush and the inner world. Organic textures, field recordings, and acid-laced synths intertwine to explore the tension and harmony between nature and technology.

My set from Eat The Beat at New Geurnica, Melbourne last weekend. 
This was a fun one to create as I was given the chance to keep the flow going from a ripper bushtech set before me to an absolute belter hard techno set after. 
I put a fair bit of time in to try and navigate my way through bushtech, techtrance, psytech, progressive psytrance and even a little zenonesque to switch it up.

Erah has had the privilege of playing at some of Melbourne's most iconic underground venues such as: My Aeon, New Guernica, 24 Moons and Rubix Warehouse. Outside of the club, he has played at the well renowned Wild Horses Festival 3 years running and thrown down countless sets at underground outdoor parties. Where he first fell in love with the underground sound and psychedelic music community in 2012. Erah has also played alongside and supported some very talented and well renowned artists such as Alex Stein, Tom Baker and  Zone Tempest to name a few.

The Delegate. Good time maker. Is a DJ/Producer and the co founder of Jungle Juice Records who has been supplying the good vibes and driving bass lines to the doof scene for over 12 years. Originating in Sydney James found his home and his people on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. He has developed his own unique sound which ignites the fire on the dancefloor creating smiles all round.

Aria's musical journey culminated in the creation of Kodama in 2022, a project that explores the fusion of psy and bush-tech while navigating the balance between darkness and light.

Kodama presents a raw, sonic landscape that invites listeners on a transformative voyage, weaving ethereal textures with natural sounds, and driven by deep, pulsating bass lines and dynamic percussion.

Aria has released on Universal Tribe Records, Soliq Records & Frisson Records with more releases out soon on Proponent Records, Another Psyde Records and an upcoming Bush/Psy tech EP "Hear What I Hear" releasing on Magic Hour Recordings (Japan). 

She has played overseas in Japan (Cub Under) and has featured in multiple festivals last year such as Intrinsic Gathering, Electric Boogaloo, a variety of club sets and ended 2024 with her debut interstate set for Initiation in Queensland.

Old bastard now, huge passion for music, exploring and playing with Reason, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Traktor Pro 4, Adobe Audition and sometimes playing on one of my guitars.
