Daydream in Blue has been one of those tracks I’ve loved for years—it’s always stuck with me, and I’ve wanted to put my own spin on it for a long time. Its actually both Lupe Fiascos ft Jill Scott and The Original version but i decided just to pay homage to original artists. This flip brings a heavier bass and a smooth hip hop flow, giving it a fresh vibe while still keeping that dreamy, nostalgic feel that makes the original so special. It’s my way of honoring a classic, but with my own twist, and I’m really excited to finally share it with everyone!

I’ve been playing this one out at almost every show this summer, and the crowd reactions have been amazing!! so I figured it’s finally time to share it with the world. 💜

This one’s a tribute to Fatboy Slim, one of my biggest inspirations, reimagined through my own lens.

Some songs live in your head rent-free until you finally have to make them your own. For me, Kid Cudi’s Dat New New has been a favorite of mine since high school. I always told myself I’d remix this track once I had the skills to do it. This flip was one of the most fun processes I’ve ever had making a track. It all just came together perfectly, and I was actually able to articulate what had been in my head into reality. I had a blast adding my own twist while still honoring the original, and I’ve been playing this remix all summer. Now it’s finally yours!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. I hope this inspires you to create and make something you’ve always wanted to make, because it’s worth it.
