So... a few years ago during university work, I begged, blagged and possibly pestered many for interviews.  One such kind person being Danny Farrant, currently drumming for Buzzcocks.  This interview is unedited for a bit of clarity and 'in the moment' atmosphere.  I rather loved this moment standing on the streets of Soho with microphone at hand, just listening and talking away. Fleet based Keine Namen embraced the punk DIY ethic and self-produce recordings and distributed them through their own label, Superbun Tapes In September 1978, they released just 10 copies of “The Living Room Tapes” cassette, carrying 8 tracks – 5 about girls they’d dated, covers of Buzzcocks “Sixteen” and PILs “Theme”, and self penned “White Cars”. A small selection of Interviews past and present with artists from music, spoken word and theatre, with a few slices of Conveyance Space which became a solo project with frameworks based on splicing field and studio recordings to create sound collages.

Experience with the BBC Radio 3 sound production team at Maida Vale, The Barbican and Wigmore Hall.  Working with engineers Anne McKay and Philip Burwell whilst at Uni paved a vision on sound engineering techniques and control during recording and working around sound.  

Conveyance Space became a BBC introducing artist, influences are always open and microphones still ready, always grateful to those who stop by.

Riverwest Radio is a nonprofit storefront community radio & podcasting platform dedicated to uplifting Milwaukee voices through locally produced content.

MISSION STATEMENT
Riverwest Radio provides a community platform for education, advocacy and creativity, as well as an outlet for marginalized and alternative voices in our neighborhood and beyond. We invite all Milwaukeeans not only to listen, but to take an active role in the production of their own show and become stewards of the station.

I host two shows on 103.5 The Sun, a community radio station in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Hey! Ho! Let's Go is punk/alternative rock. Gregslist is rock, hip hop, soul, blues, reggae, country -- a little bit of everything. (Also former host of a show called Country Gold, which you will find archived here.)

There was a vibrant music scene in the Woking / GU postcode area from the late 60's to early 90's. We unearth and post tracks from those bands that have faded into obscurity...
