This podcast discusses the Tax Appeals Commission regarding an appeal brought by an Appellant against The Revenue Commissioners concerning assessments for Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT). The central dispute focused on whether funds received by the Appellant were taxable gifts or should be excluded as a purported loan or as legitimate business expenses.
