How can it be, that I’m addicted to reason,

What is this world that I see?
Some say, that truth is subjective,

Many truths exist, 
not needing of a human to conceive it, 
Like trees, that fall down 
and there’s no-one there to hear it.
If no-one believes in you,
Does it mean you don’t exist?
Plenty loneliness around.
Ignorance is no excuse.

It seems our vanity and pride,

That Everything will be alright,
Now its just 'carnage and disaster every night',
When really everything’s the same,
In life most days go by, with very little change 
But in our minds we only see the hurt and pain,
See evil everywhere, beware, perhaps the problem is in us.
Believe the negative too much, with cynicism shun all trust.

So if I scare you on a dark and stormy night,
Because you looked into my eyes,
And saw the flame that burns eternal for the fight,
Against the selfish, and the bullies, and the hypocrites
Who preach a narrative of fear that suits the power of the mega-rich.
Just ask yourself, who really makes the rules by which I live?
Who really gets the money from the taxes that I give?
Why am I told that bogeymen, lurk everywhere? 
When those who really warp our forces get ignored as if not there.

Didn’t Zack call out those hoods? I think he did,
But that was thirty years ago, and they’re still hid.
Though they might now take on a very, very different form.
They still ensure fear and division are the norm.
They keep you fighting ‘mongst yourselves so you are easi’r to control.
They set you jostling for the crumbs that they so lovingly bestow.
They say to change the status quo is lunacy.
But know, what scares them most is unity 
So do not be Divided 
Take that bullet from your head.
Wake up, and listen, and question, 
And let consensus spread, without anger, without malice.
Without ego, 
Look ahead!
