MaschinenMusik - Between Worlds

MaschinenMusik is the project of German producer Karsten Alfermann (born 1964 in Paderborn, based in Hanover). His music is a blend of techno, trance, and house—chilled and danceable at the same time. The roots lie in the ’90s: reggae and soca bands, endless jam nights, bass as the heartbeat. In the early 2000s, he moved into the studio and began crafting electronic sketches. A creative hiatus in front of the canvas followed. Since 2022, MaschinenMusik has been back: emotional club cuts that work on the dance floor and linger long after the festival. For everyone who loves to dance, travel, celebrate art, and look for new stories in the night.

Hey, I’m Melanthos. I make progressive trance and other sounds that keep me up at night.

I’m all about melodies that pull you in, rhythms that make you move, and building tracks that you can get lost in.

In 1998, Youth (Martin Glover) decided to set up, LSD - Liquid Sound Design as Dragonfly's sister label, specialising in chilled out soundscapes, sonic beats and mellow grooves. LSD was as natural progression for Dragonfly keen to create an outlet for more experimental and down-tempo music as well as satisfying the demand for the post club chill out sounds

Tom Lysar creates electronic music with an emotional core — shaped by atmosphere, structure, and instinct. His compositions don’t follow fixed genres but emerge from moments, moods, and inner imagery.

Much of his music is rooted in an extensive archive: early studio sessions, unfinished sketches, and custom loops originally crafted for sample packs, background cues, and small creative projects such as indie games and online content. In 2025 he began reshaping this material, refining old fragments into finished works and aligning them with his present sound. The result is a continuous flow of releases that feel both timeless and immediate — carrying the depth of past explorations into the present.

In his work, sound, memory, and motion merge into a fluid musical expression. Each track becomes an invitation: to drift, to remember, or simply to feel.

This is music that doesn’t confine — it opens space. Between light and shadow, closeness and distance.
