Gracious Consolation Organ Solo

This is an instrumental medley of some of the tunes a hymn writing vicar friend composed in his head and asked me to arrange for use in the small Anglican church where I play the piano. 
In order the tunes are for these hymns and songs:
May the God of hope (first version)
We fell in love by chance (for use during the signing of the register in a wedding service)
For the fruits of all the earth (for harvest time)
We come now to remember (for Remembrance Day)
May the God of hope (second version)

These are instrumental settings of four pieces originating from a small Anglican church that currently has no building of its own.

1) 'O Holy Spirit you live in us. Make us the salt of the earth. Help us to spread the love of the Son, and bring other souls to new birth'; words and melody by EAJ (a lady in the congregation), arrangement by martinm (2019).

2) 'Ashchurch Gardens', melody and arrangement by martinm (1983) for a hymn written by R. Heber (1783-1826):
Bread of the world in mercy broken, wine of the soul in mercy shed;
By whom the words of life were spoken and in whose death our sins are dead:
Look on the heart by sorrow broken, look on the tears by sinners shed,
And make your feast to us a token that by your grace our souls are fed.

3 )A Christmas carol by martinm (2007):

When freedom seekers stepped off the steamboat in St. Paul, local people of color met them at the landing. Underground Railroad agents worked as barbers, musicians, laundresses, steamboat stewards and cooks. Some of these residents had never been enslaved and grew up in eastern cities. Others fled the South to settle in Minnesota — a territory that was supposed to be free, yet tolerated slavery within its borders. Local sheriffs and Southern enslavers spent weeks offering bribes to find people sheltered in places like the church belfry, the ice cream saloon, a horse stable hayloft and the home of William and Adeline Taylor. In the season 9 finale of MinneCulture, historians share the little-known story of St. Paul’s Underground Railroad.
