Hello world,

After a short spring break and our latest ACCENTVA008, which was very well received by the scene, Accents Records is back with its original format and the pioneering ACCENTEP series, dedicated to solo EP releases and the digital format. This allows artists to express themselves forcefully and effectively through a corpus of 4 to 6 tracks that define as closely as possible the scope of their current output.

Always at the forefront of electronic music research, where experimentation and techno music meet, the label has chosen to highlight the complex musical work of Australian artist Diffused Signal.

For this special occasion, this is our thirtieth release from the catalogue, the genius producer who has already signed to renowned labels such as Lowless, Circular Limited and Crescent London is not new here either, having joined Various Artists ACCENTVA007 last year, offers us what he does best with this original opus made up of six previously unreleased works oscillating between atmospheric techno teeming with detail, psychedelic driving techno tracks, lysergic tribal half-steps, quasi-industrial and mechanical excursions, where nocturnal ambiences flirt with ethereal and poetic pads, over which sharp and fearsome polyrhythms intertwine. All in all, it's the ideal music to discover in the middle of a feverish night on dancefloors in the middle of the temperate jungle.

The ACCENTEP series continues with a special new opus, produced by Sub Accent, the founder and curator of the label. ‘Spiral EP’ is a corpus of eight tracks, all produced in 2024 and following a precise modus operandi: the construction of tracks that are both minimalist and progressive, with a tendency towards acid deep techno. Conceived as a catalogue of tools, Spiral
EP is clearly aimed at dancefloors, and intended for the most demanding listeners and DJs. Rooted in the classics of progressive electronic music, this set of eight tracks attempts to reanimate the genre through a more contemporary and direct production.

The summer solstice will be here soon, and it's time to bring you the eleventh instalment in the ACCENTEP series, dedicated to the custom format and promoting music that's both contemplative and designed for travel and techno clubs. Akob, a talented duo of producers based between Paris and Berlin, have graced us with an opus that is resolutely sensitive and chamber, offering their vision of a nocturnal techno music that is hypnotic, atmospheric, bewitching and minimalist, with a magnificent sound design that invites us to drive along the country roads at night, alone in our vehicle, discovering the chromatic oscillations of a pre-summer sunset.
