True faith begins with repentance, surrender, and letting Jesus be Lord over every part of our lives—not just the parts we’re comfortable with.

After Israel’s defeat, the Philistines captured the Ark and placed it in their temple as a trophy, symbolizing their god’s victory over Israel’s. But God will not be mocked. Like the Ark, Jesus was mocked and presumed defeated, but while in the grave, He was conquering. Every idol, every power, every lie falls before Him. So don’t just let God reside, let Him rule. Tear down every rival.

The Ark returns to Israel,but this moment reveals more than just a homecoming. It shows us how both outsiders and insiders misunderstand God’s holiness. We don’t worship Him on our terms. When God exposes us, it’s not to shame us,it’s to draw us closer through repentance, purity, and reverence. He’s a God who loves deeply and judges rightly.Every lie falls before Him. Don’t overlook the ordinary,God often works His greatest plans through the smallest moments. Trust that He’s guiding your steps, even on your most mundane days.

As Saul returns home after being anointed, we see how God’s Spirit leads through prophecy, calling, and obedience. This journey isn’t just about Saul, it’s about how the Spirit works in all of us. Don’t limit what God can do. Seek His Spirit and walk in obedience, you never know what He’s preparing you for.

In this message, Saul is publicly anointed as king, but not everyone celebrates. Some reject God’s chosen leader, forgetting what God had already done for them. Let’s not be like the worthless men in the story. Let’s remember our deep dependence on God, and honor the One who was despised and rejected for our salvation, Jesus, our true King.
