Will B (UK) & Nes Mburu Return with the Soulful Sequel to ‘Usiku’ — New Single ‘Asubuhi’ on Spirit Animal Records

Following the Beatport-charting success of ‘Usiku’, rising Afro House producer Will B (UK) teams up once again with Kenyan vocalist and songwriter Nes Mburu for the second chapter in their musical journey — ‘Asubuhi’, released August 15th via Spirit Animal Records.

Translating to “morning” in Swahili, Asubuhi picks up where Usiku (“night”) left off — but with a dramatic shift in mood, energy, and emotional depth. Where Usiku was a hypnotic, late-night club heater that surged with the energy of midnight rendezvous (earning a No. 4 spot on the Beatport Afro House Top 100 releases chart), Asubuhi gently ushers in the morning light — intimate, reflective, and heartbreakingly beautiful.

The story continues: after a magical night together, a young man finds himself caught in a sunrise moment he never wants to end. Asubuhi captures that delicate, emotional space where joy, vulnerability, and longing intersect. The result is a deeply melodic, melancholic Afro House track, purpose-built for those sacred 7am sunrise sets — whether on a beach, at Burning Man, or in your headphones as the world begins to stir.

Nes Mburu’s lyrical storytelling across both tracks is a masterclass in musical narrative, bridging two distinct emotional worlds while telling one complete story. His voice, raw and soul-stirring, floats above Will B’s textured, minimal percussion and lush harmonic progressions, cementing the duo’s status as one of the most compelling collaborations in the Afro-electronic scene today.

I am grateful for the opportunity to takeover Merkaba & Eve organised by Synergetic Vibes Mauritius with a closing set which completes the ritual with deep driving bass lines that hypnotically creates a conscious musical voyage to the listener from psy-ambient, organic, electronic, storytelling and euphoric dimensions of time and space in a way, echoing with soulful remembrance. 
The veil doesn’t just lift, it dissolves. 

I enjoyed the journey, all the way through together to close the veil as one.

Emerging from the culturally rich neighbourhood of East London, Will B is a distinguished music producer and DJ known for his captivating blend of Afro and Melodic house music. 
Will B grew up playing piano classically reaching grade 6 as a teenager, but then shifted his sights to DJ'ing and started locally as part of a 'sound' at age 16. He juggled this with his other love, Basketball where he played for London Towers and then moved to semi professional football in the years to follow. 
With a wealth of experience both behind the decks, and managing record labels (he used to manage eclectic record label, Casual Records; and House label Need2Soul) Will B is now ready to release some of his own House music production work to the world through his own label, Spirit Animal Records. Will B’s music reflects his heritage and his upbringing, combining the rhythmic vitality of St. Lucia with the cutting-edge sounds of the UK. This cultural amalgamation is evident in his productions, which seamlessly weave together intricate Afro percussion, lush melodic synths, and deep, soulful grooves. His tracks are a testament to his ability to create immersive soundscapes that resonate with listeners on both emotional and physical levels. His innovative approach and dedication to his craft have garnered him a loyal following and widespread acclaim within the electronic music community.

Oflex & Jozar es un dúo de DJs y Productores argentinos que comenzaron a mezclar en el año 2019, y con la experiencia de tocar en el movimiento Undergound de Argentina, han logrado consolidar un estilo particular, sobre el cual, lo primordial es el groove.
Su sonido se encuentra identificado dentro del género "Progressive", pero sin embargo, creen que el punto clave es la versatilidad y no se cierran a un único genero.
