We of Concrete Collage are thrilled to share with you this long time coming album from the amazing Tescon Pol.
Even more mysterious than their previous release with us, Gai Lan from 2021, The Longer Morrow is a long and slow descent into the cloudy digital darkness of an uncertain future (or past... or both... who knows).

Some words from the artists themselves:

"Talk about the weather? We’re actually here to discuss time, but the subjectivity surrounding one's experience of time makes a liar out of language. Thus, we are content to use various meteorological phenomena as its proxies.

The six-part isolation journal series stretches from the finite, quarantined point of 2020’s micro-EP, 4nineteen, into still-materializing explorations of memory and entropy. This third entry is album-length, and, while you'll agree that it remains inevident throughout, deals exclusively in glacial 30 and 40 BPM, leading to predominantly trip hop-esque and microhouse-adjacent transmissions that are perhaps somewhat atypical for us.

Thoughts and words are preoccupied with anticipation, nostalgia, surprise, impermanence, and illusory permanence. The clock is ticking."

Venin Carmin in an insanely addictive poison candy

Lux Voltaire is a creative outfit based in Sydney, Australia. 

Lux began his live career in Melbourne, and was there for the formation of the successful, but now defunct outfit, Tankt. Lux then went back to his home-town and became a three member outfit : Reuben Napier, and Krysia Mansfield both on Keys and Backing Vox. After a few successful live gigs, Krysia and Reuben went their own ways to become successful solo performers in their own fields.

Lux chanced upon meeting two candidates for band members to replace the former. After a few rehearsals, James R and Brendan C became full-time members and the outfit Lux Voltaire went on to do some fine support slots for the years 2004-2006. Some acts supported were, VNV Nation, Real Life, Nitzer Ebb, and a sizzling gig for the Sydney Tattoo Show.

Lux Voltaire’s debut Album 'Prey For Uncertainty' exposed this act to the world in 2004. It was a fusion of synthpop, electro-industrial and EBM with a definite Clubfloor edge. Following that release was the Remix Album, 'Ich Liebe Meine Oberheim', essentially a collection of fine artists of the time (2006) interpreting the Dancefloor Classic of the same name. Artists featured were : Dave Foreman, Bassmastah B. (Brendan Creaven), Charles Fenech, Matt Smart and Damian Davis.

Since that year 2006, Lux underwent yet another lineup change : back to solo.

Lux Recently hauled twenty four tracks from his archives, and recreated them to a standard that was not only listenable, but highly enjoyable. This collection is currently under the working title of 'Early'.

Lux is currently mixing down 19 or so tracks for the highly anticipated (and some would say, well overdue) release of 'Ownlife'. All these tracks are original and completely new creations, with a far more diverse and eclectic mix of styles than ever before. 

Lux's philosophy on this is simple : " I've never been suited to any genre. I may have fitted into some slots over the years, but I'm never content with settling into this pattern, if all I get is continual expectation from others that this is what I should sound like, year in and year out. It drains me so. I need to experiment, and I can't stand formulaic restrictions."

"Ownlife" should certainly uphold this way of thinking, and present itself as a true gem. And possibly an all-time classic release.
