We pray for the church so that we would be known not for judgment, but for grace. Not for fear, but for love. Not for exclusion but for welcome. Our prayer is that we be reminded that the church is about community. Open our eyes to all the ways we are spiritually bent over, and how we define ourselves and others. Pastor Reeves continues to walk with us with “Bent Out of Shape” from the gospel of Luke 13: 10-17.

Tired of turning on the news and hearing about nothing but negative news? Tired of hearing about issues that plague our country and communities without being told what you can do to change these issues for the better? If you are then we have the podcast for you! The Positive Truth podcast aims to tell you about good news that is going on in our country. Stories of people helping others and changing their communities for the better. We will also be talking about issues hurting our society and will provide you with ways you can change them for the better. We never use our opinions in our podcasts, we only look to spread Awareness, Empowerment, Inspiration, Optimism, and Understanding through education outlets. Hence, the use of AEIOU.

Reproducing the full life of Jesus by discipling one another in missional congregations where everyone knows your name.

At PBC our longing is that people encounter the Lord Himself. 
We regularly pray that someone who joins us will be drawn to some inescapable conclusions:

“God is really among you!”

“Look how you love one another!”

And that after ministry their sense would be that “God did that!” This leaves us dependent upon God because ultimately it is about whether He does this or not.

We are passionate about the “finished product”, which ironically is something that will never be finished in this life. That “product” is not a big congregation or a new building or great services or a profile in the community. The “product” is ultimately personal and concerns who and what we are becoming. We believe that we are on this earth to discover, live out and pass on what it means to be whole-hearted followers of Jesus.
