En “La Celestina”, en un momento dado, Pármeno le advierte a Calisto: «A quien dizes el secreto das tu libertad». 

Curiosamente, algo parecido había escuchado yo (no recuerdo cuándo y no recuerdo a quién) en estas otras proverbiales palabras: «No hay persona más libre que aquella libre de secretos». 

El parecido, obviamente, sólo está en la sugerente contraposición de esos dos mundos: el de los secretos y el de la libertad; un parecido que, desde luego, inspira este poema que os quiero compartir. 

Es una incursión de todavías. 

La he intitulado: «La apacible conducta de la transparencia».

         
          Crecer había entrañado opacarme,
          vestir lo hecho, lo sido: 
          envainar mis meteduras de pata en un calcetín,
          contener con una corbata la vergüenza,
          los remordimientos con un cinturón,
          llevar como interior la inapropiada ropa 
          de ciertos pensamientos, sentimientos,
          bajo peluca, las esquinas menos complacientes de mi identidad,
          cualquier episodio con horario de trauma, enguantado,
          y tirantes, ante todo, tirantes,
          por la sola razón de que no se me cayeran los secretos. 


          Pero entonces, tú. 


          Todavía sigue sorprendiéndome,
          prenda a prenda, el desprendimiento.
          Sé que me arropaste 
          y tanta textilizada opacidad se volvió superflua,
          que contrajiste mi vulnerabilidad y no te enfermó,
          que toda esa información activamente ocultada,
          todos esos retortijones de palabras no dichas,
          fueron goteando por mis labios hasta desimportar.
          Pero no me explico,
          de veras, no soy capaz de explicarme
          cómo después de desnudarme completamente ante ti
          estoy, aún, más que desnudo, transparente.


En parte, me recuerda a eso que describió Yaa Gyasi: “Theirs was a comfortable love. A love that didn’t require fighting or hiding.” (Homegoing, 2016)

Saliah has supported MOBO-Award-Winning Lady Leshurr and BBC Introducing’s Miss Melody. Her performances have opened for the likes of Omar Souleyman, Shkoon, Hello Psychaleppo, Ammar 808 and Jazzy Jeff.

Joakim Frithjof has been quietly making his mark in the underground scene. Starting out with a love for Hip-Hop, turntablism, and early House, his musical journey took a new turn when he moved to Amsterdam in 2005, where clubs like Club11 and Trouw shaped his evolving sound. Over the years, he’s played across Amsterdam, hosted his own parties in Utrecht, and even made appearances in cities like Copenhagen, Berlin, and Stockholm.

His style? Hard to pin down. He loves mixing things up, drawing from House, breakbeat, UK Garage, floathouse, rave, and classics. Always keeping it fresh but never forgetting the roots. He’s more about making people move than fitting into any one box.

Beyond DJ’ing, he applies his wide-ranging taste in music to curating playlists for brands and physical spaces. As Music Director at Kollekt.fm and with his own venture, Sonic Curations, he helps create custom playlists and music identities that not only fit the aesthetic but also enhance the atmosphere, leaving behind a lasting audio impression.

Fun Fact: The first CD he ever bought at age 12 was The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land, a purchase that marked the beginning of a lifelong obsession with music.
