VNNN. has a clear penchant for techno and its contemporary influences. The Essen-based DJ and producer is not only a key team member behind the Stone Techno festival, but is also a long-serving resident at The Third Room events that boasts bookings such as Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, for example. He also has appearances at clubs further afield alongside artists such as FJAAK, Floorplan, Dax J, Stef Mendesidis, and Bambounou, to name only a few. His tracks have been released on homestead The Third Room, as well as fellow German label Toolboxxx, and he continues to carve out staunch path collaborating with Ahmet Sisman too. This exclusive mix is trippy from the word go, developing a hugely hypnotic opening that really sets the mood and transports. Thoughtful, twisted and expertly curated, the half way point delicately turns the groove knobs up a touch as he finishes off in style by introducing some more stomping grooves and jackin' cuts with some deeper, atmospheric vibes for good measure. covid-19 survivor (modern healer ep is out now)

tracks created in ableton live intro and fl studio, using solely trackpad and headphones for most productions.  humanimal2.0 is about how to adapt, and how to fight sickness with a strong love for music, cooking, imagination and the will to access fearless creativity / other realms of the mind.  this mentality i developed during a ferocious battle with long - covid (the vaccine made things much worse): it attacked my nervous system and left me unable to breathe, walk, make certain facial expressions, swallow, eat food, get an erection, and unable to go to the bathroom (or not go to the bathroom).  i had to find a way to maintain willpower during this time and to build back my body in order to walk, live and breathe normally again.  it was indeed a painful experience on many levels that taught me how to adapt to any situation, as every day was different and it got better and worse for about two years.  the worst of it was suffocating at night and not being able to sleep for weeks, that and not knowing if i would get any better. 

i did this with a wide variety of plant medicine, psychedelics, cooking knowledge, a strong love for club music, vengeance sample pack, ice cold water and a brutal work ethic.  it helped to see it as an opportunity to learn and explore what i thought was not explorable
