I Dreamed a Dream JC

Production notes:
~ Was inspired by the frantic energy of you underground queens to make this the fastest track I’ve ever produced (185bpm).
~ I outlined the drum part by first tracking in a clip of my own beatboxing to lock in the groove I had in my head. If you listen closely there’s still some airiness from those clips I left in, to make the electronic drums sound more organic.
~ Other than that, just about every part the remix is derived directly from the original stems — no extra synths on my part.
~ I showed this to my mom and she said it sounds like Owl City lol~~ Her sister’s name is Rosemary.

Jehanne combines her love of European and popular music to craft and cover songs that speak to the heart. Influences span hard rock, acoustic ballads, mellow soul vibes, classical, dance and rap. 

Based in Leeds in the UK, Jehanne has also lived in central France, and Paris. A perfect morning would be with croissants, fromage and ‘un petit café’ watching the world go by.
