Departing Butterflies



In a pasture at night, a breeze causes the leaves of plants to sway in the air, causing light to dance across the empty fields in celebration of the moonlit glow.

What do you do when you find yourself lost in a situation where you have no idea where to go? What do you do when you don't know where your path will go, but know that you don't to stay where you already were? This piece asks these questions, and determines that sometimes the only direction is forward, even if you don't know where it will lead you.

A piece that depicts the mental state of being so overwhelmed that you are left pacing the floor, even when you can't scream. Overwhelming lines and heavy repetition, like the thoughts can't leave no matter how much you try to walk them out.
