I cannibalised my unfinished CREATIVE FREEDOM take to make this thing. I intended it as a sort of hypothetical Weird Route battle theme for Camellia, but it barely sounds like CREATIVE FREEDOM at this point. I put the Doctor leitmotif because the Weird Route might be to do with Gaster, maybe?

I really want to make Vision Crew fan content but I keep putting it off for some reason. Maybe after June 4th?

Jacen in this track refers to Jacen Black, a creator who lit the match that started it all for me. One conversation with Jacen flipped a switch I didn’t even realize was there. He sparked critical truths: that when you create online — music, art, words, whatever it is — you’re not just posting into the void. You’re engraving something permanent, something that can echo in infinitum long after you’re gone. Creation is legacy, coded into the fabric of time.

Jacen’s refusal to bow to the noise, his choice to keep creating no matter who tried to silence him — that became the inspiration behind Unlocked. It’s about waking up. It’s about realizing you were never trapped to begin with. And once you’re unlocked, you don’t go back.

yeah so I started making this thing back in April but got tired of it really fast. The idea was to make a post-CREATIVE FREEDOM Camellia boss theme in my personal style. I tried finishing it a few times but enthusiasm is just gone. This is my (probably) final attempt from earlier this month. Listen to it (or don't, depending on your inclination, I don't really mind).

Also I just remembered how a few years ago I used to unironically use the phrase "MANKY CONK!!!" as an expletive. Don't know how I forgot to be honest. Just putting that out there for preservation purposes or something. It makes this upload more interesting anyhow.

AFTER HOURS INNOVATION (Track 3: "Side Project Syndrome")
October 15, 2024 - 7:45 PM - Jordan's Apartment

Jordan's apartment tells two stories. The first is visible from the doorway: a modest one-bedroom in Corktown, clean but sparse, the home of someone who spends more time at work than living. The second story requires stepping inside, turning the corner, and discovering what Jordan calls his "lab."

What started as a desk in the corner has metastasized into a command center. Three monitors glow with different stages of code development. A testing bench holds various automotive control units—ECUs, TCUs, and experimental modules Jordan has built himself.

The walls are covered in flowcharts, system diagrams, and photos of successful upgrades: a 2019 Tesla Model 3 ("Enhanced predictive routing"), a 2021 Porsche Taycan ("Adaptive performance optimization"), a 2018 Audi S4 ("Full sensory integration pending").

This is where Jordan becomes who he truly is—not a data analyst, but a digital sculptor, crafting intelligence from silicon and code.

Tonight's project is a commission from Nexus Automotive, a local electric vehicle startup. They want their fleet management AI to be "smarter," though they can't articulate what that means. Jordan knows. 

He's developing what he calls IDA—Intelligent Driving Assistant—a modular AI system that doesn't just manage vehicles but learns from them, grows with them.

"Alright, IDA," Jordan murmurs, fingers flying across the keyboard, "let's teach you about pattern recognition."

He's building something different from traditional automotive AI. Instead of rigid decision trees, IDA uses adaptive neural networks. Instead of predetermined responses, she (and Jordan has started thinking of IDA as "she" without quite knowing why) develops her own optimization strategies.

The code flows like poetry:
