This is a fan song to show my appreciation for the unbelievably awesome Cupcakes Alternative Story by the incredibly talented SinfulPie! It isn't often that I make songs about MLP fan content, but reading through this comic (and the hours spent theorizing that followed) moved me so profoundly that I felt I just had to write a song about it!

This song is written from a variety of character perspectives, and delves into the mind of Pinkie's friends as they each uniquely grapple with her sinister betrayal. Because I desperately want you to read this comic (seriously, PLEASE read this masterpiece if you can stomach it), I'll cut the song synopsis there, and just say that you'll have to know a bit about the comic to fully unpack the narrative and read between the lines! 

"The Cupcakes Choir" is an 11-person group vocal collaboration project that initially was only shared with members of the private SinfulPie donator Discord server, but later broadened after folks outside the server started expressing interest ~ Organizing the project was a TON of fun, and working with so many talented and passionate folks was truly an honor!
