Both sons and slaves pick up the trash. What is an indicator of a slave mentality is attitude and the inner voice when we go about mundane tasks. You can get Israel out of Egypt but getting Egypt slave mentality out of the minds of people is hard. Don’t take 40 years and die in the wilderness on a journey that could have taken 11 days. One problem: slave mentality. God doesn’t want you just free, but in His promised land.

Scripture says "The Lord disciplines the one He loves" ergo no elements of correction, praise, standard keeping, growth expectation and you won't experience love. Jesus curses a fig tree that only wanted to LOOK fruitful. God's family is a high challenge, high impact, high fruit family we all need to commit to!
