This song is intense, powerful, passionate and uplifting. I wrote it while I was in the hospital recovering from surgery. I wrote it for not only myself, but for anyone who is fighting cancer right now or has a loved one who is. I wrote it for everyone who has passed away from cancer and to honor their memory. I’m hoping this song inspires people and gives them comfort in any way and know they’re not alone, to know YOU’RE not alone. This song is for me as much for me as it is everyone else ❤️🫂

August 2023 things drastically changed
I was diagnosed with cancer
Though early stage
Still the worst news of my life 
All I kept thinking was ‘am I gonna die?’
Cancer’s a death sentence right?

What’s the point in trying to fight?

I only got a small chance to survive
But I pushed on (on)
Chemo treatment nearly took me out (out)
Pain and torture, mental health breakdown
Suicidal thoughts and the tears kept coming (kept coming)
Felt like my legs were moving but I wasn’t running (wasn’t running)
At the lowest point of the pit

My entire world a big bag of shit!
(Shit!)
But I still got up

I still was enough!
