Zudem schleichen sich die neue Oslo Trilogie von Dag Johan Haugerud sowie der Kultfilm Only Lovers Left Alive von Jim Jarmusch unauffällig in das Hörvergnügen.

"Dangerous Animals" had its world premiere in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its brutal shark kills, handling of genre tone, and Jai Courtney's unhinged performance as the serial killer who feeds his victims to sharks and films them in the process. Courtney was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about his experience making the film, which you can listen to below! Olivier Marguerit retrouve Dominik Moll pour un film policier après "La Nuit du 12". Il y affirme sa volonté de s'éloigner des stéréotypes du genre en privilégiant des mélodies mentales, émotives et répétitives. La musique emploie des textures pour maintenir une tension souterraine et unifier les différents plans d'une narration axée sur la parole et l'interprétation des images. L'intrigue se déroule dans le cadre d'une enquête de l'IGPN menée par Stéphanie (Léa Drucker) sur le cas de Guillaume, un jeune homme gravement blessé par un tir de LBD lors des manifestations des Gilets jaunes en décembre 2018. Pour ce sujet traitant des violences policières, la musique maintient une forme d'ambiguïté, traduit la tension latente et le poids de l'enquête sur le personnage. Un ostinato d'orgue, de nature obsessionnelle et au style dépouillé, évite le mélodrame tout en soulignant cette atmosphère, tandis qu'un élément inattendu vient troubler l'enquêtrice, pour qui cette affaire revêt une dimension personnelle. Comme une libération, la chanson "Siffler sur la colline" de Joe Dassin retentit à la fin, symbolisant la joie retrouvée d'une famille meurtrie, réunie dans une voiture en train de l'écouter.
