Death is certain, life is not. And both are available at our supermarket. 


With everything that’s happening in the world, one must wonder if there’s breaking free from it all or should they just stop trying to make sense of it. It’s a choice and it isn’t — depending on the circumstances one finds themselves in. What seemed senseless beginning to take form and what had always been solid shatters into pieces: home, family, plans, love, identity, freedom, sex, philosophy, technology, making-it, bank account, self, traumas, patterns, overcoming them, residence, conscience, morals, vodka, values, vulnerability — they have equal chances to serve as safe place or jail, wake or deliverance, life or death — go figure.

In its first release, Patar flips the table — and the cards, and the chips with it. No stake is too high to even mention it. One track and 7 versions of it, as an attempt to transgress from confusion to clarity — or maybe the other way around. Here’s an artistic experiment for you: do not brief, do not declare, do not obey, and do not fight — or do. And see what comes out of it. 

Qurgōn is a pit grave. There are dead horses in it, dead people, dead weapons, and vessels. It stinks and it’s scary. It’s a place where nothing will ever be born, or will it? It requires nothing, silently craving admiration. It only ever serves a collective memory of all the heroes and the blood-thirsty freaks alike. They are one, after all. It only is to be unbothered, looked at in awe and disgust; to be a break out on the smooth surface of the steppe’s ass.  

One artist made a call, seven responded — to dig to the bottom of that pit or touch upon its stony texture.

Here’s another experiment for you: renounce all styles and genres and go with it. Who cares, anyway? Gloomy and epic, repetitive and bass-y — oh, always bass-y. Percussion-thick, yelling, obnoxious, rich. The sound of dying, finding peace, losing it again, and returning back to the hassle. The all-penetrating sound of a baby’s cry and the last exhale of a fighter knocked out for good. Ferocious sirens needling through the layers and layers of dead horses and weapons, clanking, squelching — resonating. With the horrors and hope. With memories and fantasies. With clinging to what seems to be it — and letting go. 

Nothing is certain anymore, yet everything is clear.

Born in Tashkent, raised between Uzbekistan and France, 130E0A is passionate about musical esthetics that blend multiple genres and styles - with a preference for heavy basslines, deconstructed rhythms and ethereal synths. Multidisciplinary artist, hyperactive clown and melancholic dreamer, Masha is an active member of the french electronic scene for 10 years - from organizing local parties in Lille, Paris or Toulouse, to promoting women and queer people rights. Former @rinse_france resident for 5 years, they nowadays have a periodic show on @egreg-re, a webradio and label based in Toulouse.

This mix for Plovistan is about rough dubstep, leftfield rhythmics and, as always, nostalgia. Keep two things in mind : hips movements and spiritual enlightenment.

A set prepared for celebration of Nooruz spring equinox, new year holiday in Persian and turkic cultures including Central Asia. This year I played in two Nooruz themed parties, in SWANA centered party "Temple of" in Prague and "Shared Resiliens" organised by Feminist Translocalities in Berlin. 

This set is a musical journey from roots of Central Asia & dark corners of my mind with heavy dub and jungle tracks, to liberating anger with exhilirating hardcore jungle and drum and bass tracks, to finally the light with enchanting jungle and breakbeat tracks.

Nooruz for Temple of (Prague) & Feminist Translocalities (Berlin) parties

KIKA (MD) is a producer and dj from Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. Inspired by the Dutch techno culture, after two years of living there and working in a factory, he came back home only for one reason - to develop this culture in Moldova. He founded a series of events called Metanoia, which was the first event in the country to focus on raw, rolling, mental, and hypnotic techno sound. The aim is the development of techno culture in the country. The peculiarity of these parties is expressed in the clear maintenance of a certain techno style, more underground and deep. He and a few friends are also producing music, and they can confidently say that Moldavian techno exists.

KIKA (MD) has released his music on labels such as Untitled Rhythms, Dynamic Reflection, Trau-ma, Heistmode, Konsequent, Aesir Records, Assassin Soldier Recordings, Re:flect, MZR Records, EvilGroove and more.

AISANA is a journalist, organizer of the public exhibition program Tazqara, and a resident of @bult-almaty.

She has shared the stage with ANIMISTIC BELIEFS, MALA JUNTA, Yanamaste, ORBE, residents of KHIDI, and other renowned DJs. You may have heard her at numerous parties and events, including ZVUK, bULt x SFX, 303, Chaikhana, Shulama, Vector, Weekender, ANTOH FOOTBALL (KG) and Groovy Shit.

AISANA does not confine herself to strict genre boundaries, but she often prefers to build her sets around dark hard sounds, groove, and fast rhythms.

Antron is a NYC based DJ specializing in layered, scifi influenced funk. Inspired by the Afroturist perspectives of Detroit techno and the rhythms of everyday life, his sets feature careful selections, subtle textures, and dynamic mixing to bring an undeniable musicality. He can be found playing throughout NYC, and deep in the mix for his show Basal Rate on 8 Ball Radio.

In this episode, hosts Rashid Gabdulhakov and Yelena Kilina meet with Douwe van der Meer who is an independent researcher focusing on energy, climate, water and security issues in Central Asia and the South Caucasus and with Julian Postulart who specializes on the South Caucasus and Central Asia, with a background in regional geopolitics, memory and identity politics, and military and security affairs. Together they published Receding Waters, Rising Challenges: Navigating the Caspian Sea’s Geopolitical Moment. The podcasts discusses what is happening in the Caspian ecology, focussing on concerns over the Sea’s water level. At a time when the Caspian features in geopolitical calculations of littoral states and European Union corridor plans, it should be imperative to avoid an Aral Sea scenario that would negatively affect all stakeholders.

Established in 2008 by FRIDE as a project seeking to monitor the implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia, EUCAM has grown into a knowledge hub on broader Europe-Central Asia relations. With CESS guidance and cooperation EUCAM will seek to continue to raise the profile of European-Central Asian relations in general, and more specifically to:

- Critically, though constructively, scrutinize European policies towards Central Asia;
- Enhance knowledge of European engagement with Central Asia through top-quality research;
- Raise awareness of the importance of Central Asia and Europe’s engagement, as well as discuss European policies among Central Asian communities;
- Expand the network of experts and institutions from Europe and Central Asia and provide a forum for debate.

Berlin & Hamburg based central asian dj GOOSINDRA is bridging worlds of her multifaceted identity of being neurodivergant & central asian queer feminist in radically soft & unapologetically non confirming punk way. 

This manifests in trippy sets that take one to inner journeys to get in touch with feelings that were casted away to the shadow by the oppressor; & shake the mental chains off to the hardcore breaky drums & sassy hip-hop samples.

As her first raves were drum & bass parties in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, she is loyal adept to the jungle movement. GOOSINDRA is organizing bass centered parties with FLINTAs to the front principle in Hamburg and Berlin. Co-founder of Slaystans & member of A---ZN.
