Last week I (Joti Brar) spoke with @GarlandNixon about the Trump regime’s new ‘pivot to Asia’. 

We discussed why it is that imperialism is NOT CAPABLE of living in peace with its neighbours, and why China remains the number one target of the USA's regime-change machinations.

We talked about how the US imperialists’ attempt to refocus attention and resources on ‘stopping’ (ie, strangling and bringing down) China is affecting Europe and what it means for the proxy war against Russia that Nato has been waging in Ukraine. Can there really be peace in Europe while Nato continues to exist?

Jake Paul will make his long-awaited return to action later TONIGHT (Sat., June 28, 2025) to take on the much older Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. inside Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., in a 10-round Cruiserweight boxing match, streaming live online via DAZN PPV.

In the co-main event, Gilberto Ramirez will face Yuniel Dorticos, a high-stakes Cruiserweight title fight where Ramirez defends his unified WBA and WBO Cruiserweight belts against a formidable former champion, potentially paving the way for a blockbuster unification bout with IBF titleholder, Jai Opetaia (or “El Gallo”), while Dorticos aims to reclaim world champion status and upset Ramirez’s path to undisputed glory.
Jake Paul continues his boxing career, as the YouTuber faces a legitimate challenge in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 28. The fight in California airs on DAZN.
A disrupter, Paul (11-1) has fought boxers, MMA fighters, and former basketball stars. His last fight was against 58-year-old Mike Tyson, which brought in record viewing numbers. "The Problem Child" lost against rival Tommy Fury but is now on a five-fight win streak.
If Paul wins, he could be ranked at cruiserweight, making him one step closer to his promise of becoming a world champion. That is part of the reason he's testing himself against a former world champion, regardless of Chavez's recent status in the sport.
"He's a great fighter. I like big names, legendary names, and he's on my path to a world championship," Paul said. "This is a tough test, a very tough test, but I'm here to challenge myself and do big things in this sport

What time does the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. main event start?

Paul and Chavez should make their way to the ring around 1:30 p.m. AEST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

It's Paul's (11-1) first fight since beating Mike Tyson in November in a contest that brought in record viewing numbers for Netflix. "The Problem Child" is on a five-fight win streak. Paul was close to fighting Canelo Alvarez and Gervonta Davis before circumstances led to both fights getting nixed.

There were rumors that a fight against Chavez (55-6-1) had been in the works for years. Paul believes now is the right time to clash against the son of a legend and hopes, despite professional and personal setbacks, Chavez gives his all on fight night.

"I don't want any excuses. When I beat this man, all the boxing media, like you always do, are going to discredit it. I'm going to expose and embarrass him," Paul said. "He's the embarrassment of Mexico. Mexico doesn't even claim him, and he's going to get exposed on June 28.

"They say he's training hard. They say this is the most focused he's ever been. Good. As he should be. People don't realize how good I actually am, and when he feels those first few punches, he's going to want to quit and go back to his stool."

Chavez is a former WBC middleweight champion. The son of Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. has gone 4-3 since losing against Canelo in 2017, but his last fight, last July, was his first in three years. The 39-year-old recently participated in a residential treatment program after being arrested on felony gun possession charges

In Venezuela rief der 1998 erstmals gewählte Präsident Hugo Chávez den »Sozialismus des 21. Jahrhunderts« aus – eine gesellschaftliche Utopie, deren Umsetzung zumindest zeitweise zu gelingen schien. Elemente direkter Demokratie und staatliche Planung sollten weiten Teilen der Bevölkerung einen Lebensstandard sichern, der Zugang zu Bildung Gesundheit und politischer Beteiligung umfasste.

Nach dem Tod von Chávez und dem Einbruch der Erdölpreise geriet Venezuela in die schwerste Krise seiner Geschichte. Spätestens mit der umstrittenen Wiederwahl des Chávez-Nachfolger Nicolás Maduro im vergangenen Sommer, gilt das »Modell Venezuela« vielen als gescheitert.

Freshness, groove and love of the electronic music. Carlos Chavez is a Canary Islands DJ with more than 12 years of career and more than 20.000 mensual listeners in Soundcloud. He is DJ resident of Papagayo Beach club, the best club in Tenerife and the most recognized club of Canary Islands. There, Carlos has been playing music in his native island and positioning himself in the national scene for more than 10 years.

The music that Carlos plays is characterized by being fresh and dynamic. Carlos devises and executes his sessions for the creation of energetic atmospheres, and transports listeners to stimulating ambiences, where they can enjoy nightlife and the dance floor. He always leaves his distinctive mark as a DJ with his characteristic sound and polished technique and elegant and attractive taste.

In 2020, Carlos Chavez creates his own personal label Soleá, and currently has his own radio show on the renowned Balearica Music radio station. Biographie: CHAVO FRATE
Gegründet Ende 2017, begann die musikalische Reise vom Kölner mit rumänischen Wurzeln Chris Dusa, auch bekannt als Chavo Frate, nach jahrelanger Begeisterung für Metal und Reggae Musik. Aus der Idee heraus, zu zeigen, dass es nicht schwer ist, Hip-Hop zu machen, entstand 2015 der Song "Welt ist nicht zolli", der im Freundeskreis sehr gefeiert wurde.
Frühe Jahre und Erste Erfolge
2017 veröffentlichte Chavo Frate seine ersten Free-Tracks, darunter aggressive Gangsta-Rap-Songs wie "Bleib Loyal" auf einem Bug Mafia Beat und "Verräter" auf einem Beat von Track Masta One. Bis 2018 entwickelte sich sein Stil auf rumänisch klingenden Beats, was zur Entstehung des "Karpatenflows" führte. Die Texte, oft bilingual, spiegeln den Alltag wider. Nach dem Nachfolger "Iarba si palinca" kehrte er zu einem aggressiveren Rap-Stil zurück, inspiriert von paar seiner damaligen Freunden. Der Song "Komm nach zolli" auf einem Kalim Beat und ‚‘Zolli nicht Miami’’ auf Maniac Beatz erlangten viel Aufmerksamkeit im Viertel und mit der Veröffentlichung der EP "EP auf schnelle" kamen 2018 die ersten Auftritte.
Erstes Album und Wachstum
Nach weiteren Free-Tracks und kleinen EPs wie "Coopers & Hase" meldete sich Chavo Frate mit seinem ersten Album "SAFT" am 4. Januar 2019 zurück. Beliebte Songs wie "Saft", "31er" und "Bag Pula" brachten ihm neue Follower. Das Album beinhaltete auch das erste Musikvideo zum Lied "SAUFEN". 2019 folgte der Track "Die Welt ist nicht zolli 2", gedreht von Lory Films aus Spanien im heimischen Vorgebirgspark. Mit diesem Video bekamen viele, die den Namen Chavo Frate gehört hatten, erstmals ein Gesicht dazu.
Weitere Alben und Etablierung
Am 4. Januar 2020 veröffentlichte er das Nachfolger-Album "SAHARA", ein Akronym für "Saft-Hahn-Raum". Starke Features, wie der bekannteste deutsch-rumänische Rapper Teddy auf "Ciorba de Burta" oder Lugatti auf "Nicht nur heute", brachten ihm den Höhepunkt seiner Karriere. Mit dem aggressiven "Zollstocker Lebensstil", aufgenommen im neu eröffneten Studio "Studio969", wurde die Zusammenarbeit mit Teddy vertieft, der sein zweites Album "Made in Romania" dort aufnahm. Parallel dazu entstand die EP "DWZollstock: Nebunii" auf Beats von 310artworks, die von der rumänischen Community besonders geschätzt wird. In dieser Zeit wurden mehrere kleine Release veröffentlicht wie die ‚‘Glasige Augen EP’’, das Collabo Album mit 13hati & RK „Grasversteck“ oder die Single ‘RDNA’’. 
Weitere Projekte und persönlicher Wandel
2022 erschien das Album "GIFT", das den musikalischen Höhepunkt in Hinsicht auf aggressive Gangsta-Rap-Musik auf modernen Beats markierte. Das Album beinhaltete Features mit langjährigen Freunden wie Crazy Irano und Kokomo aus Zollstock, die Teil der 2022 gegründeten Musikervereinigung "Baba-Quali" sind. Das Musikvideo zu "Moorleichen" mit Fresse, gedreht von PLTN Production, und die ersten Merchandise-Artikel, wie die "CHAVO FRATE Hase-Umhängetasche", waren Highlights dieser Zeit.
2022 brachte viele Veränderungen mit sich, sowohl musikalisch als auch privat. Nach der Trennung von langjährigen Freunden und der Entfernung älterer Alben aus der Discographie, kehrte Chavo Frate zu seiner ursprünglichen Vision zurück: humorvolle, positive Musik mit Stil. Die EP "F(r)isch aus Zolli" von 2022, die fast ausschließlich vom Angeln handelt, wurde von vielen als sein bestes Release bezeichnet da es nicht nur reflektierende und inspirierende Passengen beinhalten, sondern auch von einer musikalischen Klasse geprägt ist, die so noch nie in der Discographie des Chavo Frate zu hören war.
Aktuelle Entwicklungen und Zukunftspläne
2023 war ein ruhiges Jahr mit nur zwei Free-Tracks: "Lumen Asta Este rea" und "In mir herrscht Krieg“ die als politisch gelten; ein Themenbereich von dem sich der Frate trennen mit der Veröffentlichung dieser songs endgültig trennen sollte. Am 4. Januar 2024 überraschte Chavo Frate mit der Rückkehr zum asozialen Rap in Form von "Ausländer" mit Crazy Irano. Nach einer ruhigen Phase meldete sich Chavo Frate mit neuen Projekten zurück, die seine zwei Hobbys – Angeln und Musik – vereinen. Der kontroverse Auftritt in einer ARD Doku übers Angeln bei dem sich das dafür verantwortliche Personen des Y Kollektivs nicht an Vereinbarung hielten markierten den start einer neuen Ära für den frate. Die darauf folgenden Songs ‚‘Wo genau?’’ (Musik video von 4Q) und der Song "Passion Petri“, beide auf Reggae Beats, überraschten mit seiner hohen Reichweite und zeigte, dass Reggae ein fester Bestandteil seiner Musik sein sollte.
Ab August 2024 wird Chavo Frate im Zwei-Wochen-Takt neue Songs zu seinem bevorstehenden Album veröffentlichen, komplett produziert von Phil Tyler, im Old-School-Boom-Bap-Stil. Ende 2024 eröffnet der Frate den Nachfolger des "Studio969" – den "Musiker Hafen Köln", einen Komplex mit einem Studio und einem Proberaum für Bands in Köln-Zollstock. 
Am 1.11.24 erscheint nun die neue 8-Track Chavo Frate EP - ,,(H)echt aus Zollstock“.
