Misschien wel de makkelijkste manier tot nu toe om mee te bouwen aan een mooie toekomst: door lekker te eten en drinken!

Een paar jaar geleden stelden Matthijs Westerwoudt en zijn latere compagnon Daan van Diepen zich de vraag: kunnen we een bedrijf bouwen dat met toenemend succes de natuur alsmaar meer herstelt? Het antwoord was ja en leidde tot de start van Wilder Land. Een bedrijf dat eten en drinken maakt van onbespoten, in Nederland geteelde inheemse planten. En daar genieten heel veel beestjes van mee tijdens de teelt. Een dikke win-win voor mens én de rest van de natuur.

Wat begon met thee, is inmiddels uitgegroeid naar een nog altijd groeiend aanbod van eten en drinken. Door chefs veelvuldig gekozen en geprezen om de goede kwaliteit en smaak. Met onder andere een sojasaus op basis van boekweit die nu zelfs door Japanners verkozen wordt boven de eigen sojasaus!

Na zijn mooie introductie met donderend geraas van vlinders, neemt Matthijs ons mee in welke reis hij en Daan hebben ondernomen, welke keuzes voor hen belangrijk zijn en hoe ze werken aan een grote impact. Met dit keer niet 3 tips, maar 3 vragen -die op veel meer vlakken bruikbaar zijn dan louter eten en drinken.

From a challenging beginning in the south where she was not accepted for her gender expression, Lee Hill went into the foster care system. As an adult she has provided a safe space  for others caught up in a system not always kind to those who don't fit societal norms.

Holly has 20 years of experience in grant writing, and began her freelance grant writing journey back in 2005. While teaching in Kuwait and Indonesia, and then earning a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy in Belgium, Holly saw the light of setting up a virtual-based business in grant writing back in the mid-2000s. Having secured more than $45 million of dollars for nonprofit organizations, and then setting up a multi 6-figure freelance business, Holly has a mission to help female grant writers break out of toxic nonprofit J-O-B-S and create high-level income while freelance grant writing.
