DARNELL’s debut single is a raw, emotionally unfiltered apology to the woman he hurt most in the aftermath of sudden fame. Blending Hip-Hop and R&B sensibilities with familiar signature drum and bass textures, the track mirrors the internal tension of the story it tells, delicate but direct, restrained but unresolved.

Delivered in a soft, Rap-Pop vocal style, Play It Again loops like the memory DARNELL can’t escape: tender, tense, and haunted by the weight of his own actions. Best known from his time on Big Brother UK, he uses this release not to reclaim attention, but to take responsibility,  musically, publicly, and personally.

This isn’t about the spotlight. It’s about what gets exposed after it fades.

Beyond the studio, I'm deeply involved in empowering others through music. I lead workshops in a young offenders' institution, offering free studio time to those reentering society. While I excel as an artist, I often step into the role of an executive producer, steering projects to success.
