Dr. Mary Crossan is a Distinguished University Professor of Strategic Leadership at the Ivey Business School at Western, recognized for her excellence in teaching, research, and service. 

In 2021, she was named among the top 2% of the most cited scientists in her field. With expertise in organizational learning, strategy, leadership character, and improvisation, her research has been widely published in top journals like the Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Review. 

She has co-authored several textbooks and developed management tools, including the “Improvise to Innovate” video with the Second City Improvisation Company. Her recent focus is on developing leader character, with ongoing work in education and consultancy worldwide. Dr. Crossan also co-hosts the Question of Character podcast.
