-Commentary-
This is my first piece back after getting medicated and getting back on my feet from a bad depressive episode. There's a few firsts in here for me and I'm really proud of how it turned out. The piece prominently features the harpsichord until its overtaken by the guitar as the piece progresses. This represents the slow take over of Turrin themself, as they give into the influence of Entropy, A major player in Shitshow. The fade out also plays into this as it leave the story unfinished, ending with a meandering guitar solo. The metric modulations in the transitions of this piece felt like they threw me a curve ball in the composition process. With the first one i was truly "just feeling it bro" and have to figure out how to contextualize it in the proceeding section. The second transition to the coda was a lot more deliberate, intending to slowly guide your mind out of the 6/16 and back into 4 with various rhythmic claves.
