Sharing Light captures the feeling when someone suddenly makes life appear in new colours. The lyrics speak of a deep attraction, but also of the fear of losing this happiness. The song has an anthemic character with a strong, driving chorus, while the bridge emphasises the desperate clinging to love. The recurring lines in the outro reinforce the feeling of longing and devotion.
