A storyteller–style story song about love, loyalty, and a white El Camino that outlasted the years. The Elky follows a couple from their teenage cruising days down Main Street, through marriage, and into their senior years — with that same old Chevy still humming along. Funny, tender, and true-to-life, it’s a love story on four wheels and a few busted shocks.

Back in high school, my man had a ride,
A white El Camino, old but with pride.
Rust on the fenders, a squeak in the door,
But it ran like a dream and I still wanted more.
We’d cruise down Main, just countin’ the lights,
Radio hummin’ through summer nights.
Some said “junk,” some said “cool,”
But we were young and breakin’ rules.

We just laughed—we didn’t care.

That Chevy’s got her own free will.
