The tone colours of ethnic instruments are as richly ornamented and roughly wrought as the famous Chinese special metal craft of filigree enamel. The totemistic carving and inlaying techniques leave a legacy of structural and spatial beauty behind the representations of colours and shapes.  
The beauty of this totemic, orderly and morphologically varied layout also follows the natural logic of proportions in architecture and music. Looking at the ‘shape, pattern, colour and light’ of filigree enamels, and associating them with music, ‘shape’ - the sense of proportion within the structure; ‘pattern’ - the sense of gain of the original vocabulary and its variants; ‘colour’ - the sense of hue presented by different musical parameters; ‘light’ - the sense of space beyond the control of the music's modulation.
The piece attempts to render a mathematical aesthetic of pre-determined layout and an air of meaning with a residual white space by means of a concise musical language.

On a Mid-Autumn night the world seems to breathe in 6/8—slow, tidal, and kind. I wrote this piece as a lantern set gently on water: felt piano stepping like quiet footfalls along a moonlit path, guzheng threading silver across the surface, erhu releasing a single warm breath into the dark. Pipa harmonics glint like dew; yangqin tremolos lift the air; a soft frame drum keeps the heart from drifting too far. I wanted the fragrance of osmanthus to be audible—not as perfume, but as patience. No electricity, only wood, string, and room, so the silence between notes can carry its own light. It is a small prayer for reunion: distant shores answering each other, bell to bell, ripple to ripple, until the lake remembers the moon it is holding.

With 13 years I got my first home computer, a Commodore 128. Soon I started making electronic music with it's famous SID chip and sound/rock monitor software.

I upgraded to an Amiga 500 and later to Amiga 1200, and was introduced into the 8-bit sampling world. Octalyzer, OctaMed where the most used tools, and a stereo 8-bit sampler module. The results were recorded to a tape recorder and shared among friends.

Then came the Synth and PC period. Bought a GEM Hyperkeyboard (accompainment stuff, with loadable sounds) and later the famous GEM S2 Turbo which is still part of the studio.
Software-wise Open Modplug Tracker was the center of the music production.

Now I'm producing Music and Sample packs using Renoise 3.1, Native Instruments Kontakt 5, Novation Impulse Midi Keyboard and the previously mentioned GEM S2 Turbo, using various VST instruments and effects and a huge library of samples.
