👋 My name is Erin Lesser. I created Lesser-Known Library with the intent to collect/share my favorite releases, connect with the community, and help promote the many talented artists you can discover here. I hope you enjoy exploring the music and find some new favorites of your own. My husband and I have been collaborating on the collection, formerly known as FGLD! (Fuck Genres Let’s Dance), since I started the project in 2015. We share a love for dance music and are actively adding new selections to the Library, so you can expect fresh new music delivered regularly. 

I started teaching myself how to mix when life took some unexpected turns in 2020 (i.e. pregnancy, the pandemic, and the sudden loss of my mother). Embracing the challenges and the unique opportunity at the time, I began to immerse myself in my new hobby and discovered a passion for blending my favorite beats. I’m a passionate advocate for supporting other talented artists, recognizing their potential, and amplifying their voices. I believe in the power of unity and collaboration and want to do my part to highlight all of the amazing talent that I am exposed to. As a DJ and a tireless curator, I am determined to make my mark on the dance floor and in the hearts of my listeners.
