Lessons From the First Century Church

Scripture:
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." — Isaiah 40:8

Summary:
Life is fleeting, just like the flowers in the field. Yet, the glory of God is eternal. Though seasons change, beauty fades, and time moves forward, His love remains constant. This song is a reflection on the splendor of creation and the lasting promises of God. Let us cherish every moment, knowing that our true glory is found in Him.

Glory In The Flower

I wrote this after reading about Job,  This is God's answer to Job.  This is God's answer to us.  When I just don't understand, and my emotions seem to get the upper hand, and I just don't get it, and I just don't get.  
When my life is turning out, and I seem so full of doubt.  and I just don't get it, and I just don't get it.

When the questions seem so difficult and the answers so far away and you just don't get it, you just don't get it
Another life is taking down and the tears have me drowning and I just don't get it, just don't get it.
then God says, who am I,  I created the earth, the sky, and I know why..Trust in ME.

I've been songwriting since 1991.  I was a music educator for 23 years in elem. education.  I was called into music ministry, when the Lord said, I would have a fulltime music ministry.  I cut 5 CD's, which included Your Character Counts.  I traveled did concerts, shared my music in churches and other places.  I went to Asbury Theological Seminary.  I met my husband.  Headed towards becoming a pastor.  I served in a few churches along with my husband.  Now retired and living the good life from home I continue to write songs, and now I'm in process of digitalizing, all my songs and getting them out to the world.
