Two seasoned figures of the European electronic underground scene, Chrom label owner Pedro Mercado and uruguayan-catalan producer Fernando Lagreca, join forces again on Chrom to present “Cosmic Tide”: a two-track + remixes EP that draws from the emotional depth of melodic techno while flirting with the darker edges of indie-dance and the nocturnal pulse of dark disco. This release is the long awaited follow up of their massive EP on MUKKE from two years ago.
The title track, “Cosmic Tide” sets the tone with sweeping synth work, hypnotic arpeggios and a deep, rolling groove — evocative and celestial, yet anchored in club functionality. The journey continues with “Synchromised Circus” a more twisted and syncopated affair, where analog textures collide with broken rhythmic patterns, evoking an eerie circus-like atmosphere reimagined for the dancefloor.
On remix duties we have another 2 experienced artists: Andy de Gage' and Joe Fisher. Andy de Gage' from Germany is another Chrom key member. He delivers a driving progressive house rework of “Cosmic Tide”, injecting it with a tougher, late-night energy while maintaining its melodic core. And at last but not least we also have the pleasure to finally welcome Joe Fisher from Buenos Aires / Argentina to Chrom. Pedro Mercado and Joe Fisher go way back with Pedro appearing several times on Rezongar Music, the highly regarded label of Joe. Joe Fisher takes “Synchromised Circus” into deeper territory, blending modular basslines and spatial FX to create a hypnotic version that resonates with the more introspective corners of the techno continuum.
With Cosmic Tide, Chrom Recordings continues its steady push into hybrid electronic terrain, where melody meets muscle, and emotion is never an afterthought.

We’re premiering the title track from Cosmic Tide, the latest EP from Pedro Mercado and Fernando Lagreca. Two seasoned names in the European underground, they reunite on Chrom Recordings for a deep, club-ready release that’s been a long time coming.

Their last joint outing on MUKKE made serious waves. This new one picks up where the last one left off, but delves deeper.

Built around melodic techno foundations, Cosmic Tide incorporates flashes of dark disco and left-field electronica. The result is a tightly crafted EP that’s emotional, functional and full of personality.

The title track, Cosmic Tide, leads with sweeping synths, hypnotic arpeggios and a groove that pulls you right in. It’s celestial and cinematic, but it still punches on a big system.

Synchromised Circus takes a stranger route. It’s twisted and unpredictable, full of broken rhythms and weird textures. Think circus music through a modular rack at 3am.

There’s remix heat too. Andy de Gage’, a core part of the Chrom family, offers a tougher progressive rework of Cosmic Tide that’s perfect for peak-time sets.

Then there’s Joe Fisher, the Buenos Aires producer and Rezongar Music boss. He reimagines Synchromised Circus as a hypnotic, deep techno trip, layering modular bass and spatial effects for a more introspective vibe.

With Cosmic Tide, Chrom continues to explore that sweet spot between melody and movement. Emotion meets edge. Feeling meets function.

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! On our new Chrom release, we proudly welcome Geuzz from Belgium — a DJ whose career took off after performing at Tomorrowland. During the Covid pandemic, Geuzz turned his creative energy toward music production, quickly securing releases on Belgian labels such as Deep House Belgium and Deep In Your Soul. His music has attracted remixers like Enoo Napa, &lez and Aytiwan, while gaining global support from influential DJs including Black Coffee, Fideles, Magdalena, Maxim Lany and Shimza. On his Chrom EP, Geuzz presents two fresh original tracks. The title track Disconnected Souls stands out as an emotive masterpiece that made its premiere with great success at our ADE 2025 Chrom Showcase, played by our label manager Pedro Mercado.
