This is a piece I heard in a dream. I felt relieved when the melody and accompaniment ended together, because I didn't know if they would align. Where on earth did this piece come from?

Levi Taschuk is a 28 year old singer-songwriter based in the small town of Salmon Arm, BC. His songwriting practice developed a little later in life, beginning in his early twenties, but he’s been a life-long and obsessive listener which has helped him make up for the lost time . His influences range from Bach to Brahms; Chet Baker to Stevie Wonder; Nick Drake to Sibylle Baier; Coldplay to Radiohead; and the list goes on. In 2024 he had the opportunity to spend a week in New York, recording a three-track EP with producers Miles Hewitt and Karl Helander, a project for which he managed to recruit Jake Falby (Julie Byrne, Mutual Benefit) to perform violin on. Taschuk then began work on his forthcoming, debut LP, Dyna Dyvest, in May 2024, finishing the recording process about a year-and-a-half later. It's set for release on September 4, 2026.
