i love this song so much, reminds of the 2010s pop era
my friend requested i cover this song with kevin and he fits it so well
he fits most pop songs tho so im not surprised
mixing this was also a pain but honestly when isnt it
i should stop mentioning it, ill only start saying it again when the mixing was easy for a cover lmao
anyway i chose asterian for the background vocals because hes the only voice who can reach as low as big al can
not super satisfied with the rap but eh, its good enough, its not the main focus anyway
overall pretty satisfied with the cover

Hey there! Once again, it's been a while. I'm back to repost a re-revised mix of me and Jim's cover of Deja Vu. Jim and I are constantly improving our mixing skills and as such he wanted to share his revised mastering process and of course I want to share it too haha. He also made the art for this as well this time around!

A lot of things have happened in the couple of months I've been gone, and yet still I unfortunately don't have much to share. My desktop has stopped working, so my vocal synth and recording efforts will be on hold for a bit, which sucks because there is an arrangement I was just hoping to finish up and share. If I find that all my projects on my computer are corrupted, I guess I'd just have to share the most updated versions of those projects that I have around my cloud storages. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. In the time until I'm able to switch out my 10-year-old computer parts and reinstall Windows, maybe I'll share some WIPs and small projects again like I did recently.

kevin really is just becoming my go-to for covering circusp songs, huh?
anyway, i got a bit experimental with the tuning for this one
mightve gone a bit hard on the improvisation but i like how it sounds anyway
ALSO i wont name which one but i have also been working on a cover from my request sheet, just taking a bit longer than usual because my small spurt of motivation came from making this cover ghufjid
ive also had a completed cover on the backburner for a while now since ive planned on making a custom PV for it but i just havent finished making it lmao
