First draft of the HardKorrigans liveset last section. As usual a lot of stuff to remove/add/adjust/etc.. but it's starting to sound like what we wanted to create. Quite happy with the result, considering it's a recording of the first try :) 

For this part we're experimenting with various sources to craft a "dark carnival" atmosphere. We're exploring hardtek styles, a bit more rough than what we usually play. 

As usual there's a lot to unpack there.. pieces of an OST from a weird 80's horror movie (killer klowns from outer space), detuned calliopes, french horrorcore samples etc... 
and we thought it was only fair to end it all with a french freetekno classic, a good old DSP with samples from A Clockwork Orange.

The origin of the name ''XZYZ0R'':
I came up with this name back in 2011, because I was listening to a lot of Dubstep and Hardstyle songs and I always wanted a sick gamer name! 
The word ZYZ is into it which is from Zyzz!!! 
The only difference back in 2011 was that I've styled the name as: ''xzYzor'' The zero & caps were added later into the name to add some confusion and to make it even more sick! 
To me it also looks like some sort of hacker name.
I've had gamer names like: Ferdik1llz0r, Ferdi Xkillervideos and Rscaper30 which were similar to it. If I say the name out loud it reminds me of the good old days when I've played RS & BFBC2! 
Which just gives me a nostalgic boost!

Noel is a writer of songs and stories rather than a musical performer. His songs have been described as reflective as they are motivated by the struggles, celebrations and tensions of everyday life. His musical stories typically address issues as diverse as cancer and homelessness, addictions, love, loss and troubled relationships.
